We meet you at your address, check licenses, and give a hands-on lesson so you're comfortable before you ride.

Who we are

Family-run, born on the peninsula.

We're two brothers with a passion for powersports and the charm of Door County. Growing up, our family spent summers exploring the peninsula by land and water — and some of our favorite memories are riding the family moped around the campground and into town, finding new spots with every trip.

Door County Moped Rentals is our way of handing that feeling to you: an easy, fun way to explore the area and make memories of your own.

We rented mopeds for two days and had the best time exploring Door County. Rob sent us a great route from Ephraim to North Port. Pick up and drop off was seamless. Mopeds were well maintained and in great shape. Will definitely rent from them again!

Do I need a motorcycle license?

No — a regular, valid driver's license is all you need. Just show it to your driver at delivery.

Who can ride?

Riders must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license, wearing closed-toe shoes, and comfortable operating a moped. For safety, we're not able to rent to riders who are pregnant.

Do I need riding experience?

A little comfort on two wheels helps, but no license or prior moped experience is required. Your driver walks you through the controls and makes sure you're confident before you head out.

Is there a deposit?

Our team will apply a $250 security deposit to your card when we pick up your rental. It will be released in full if the machine is returned in the same condition it was delivered. Any damage up to $250 will be retained from your deposit.

Where do you deliver?

Across Door County — just enter your delivery address at checkout, whether that's a rental, a restaurant, or the beach where your day starts.

What if it rains?

We offer a full refund for weather events. Door County summers are mostly beautiful — but if the skies don't cooperate, you won't be out a dime.

Are helmets included?

Available for rent at checkout — just add each rider's helmet size so we can bring the right fit. Helmets are $5 per helmet.

How long can I keep it?

Anything from a half day up to multiple days. Every day past your first 32 hours is just $100, so longer trips get cheaper by the day.

What should I bring?

A windbreaker or light jacket, sunglasses or other eye protection, sunscreen, a water bottle, a snack, and closed-toe shoes. We handle the rest.
